EITS courses are accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists in their home European Country.
The EACCME is an institution of the European Union
of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
Surgeons interested in getting EACCME credits may contact info@eits.fr.
Participants in urological courses may request AFU CME accreditation (Association Française d'Urologie).
The accreditation is in compliance with EBU/UEMS regulations - 1 credit per hour, with a maximum of 6 credits per day and a maximum of 18 credits for the whole event.
IRCAD-EITS, as a CME-providing centre, has been endorsed by the Conseils Nationaux de la Formation Médicale Continue (CNFMC) and is registered as such under the identification number 100 117. Every French physician working in a hospital setting according to the following French classification "médecins salariés non hospitaliers et médecins hospitaliers" is therefore entitled to be delivered 4 CME credits per half-day of CME activities. This has been granted according to the table of CME credits officially established by the 13th of July 2006 article issued by the French Ministry of Health, see http://www.cnfmc.fr/b-1.php.
